Anyone can sing! Just a matter of giving yourself permission to try. I can help with the next bit. My method is gentle, though concrete and practical. I work with singing enthusiasts of all ages and abilities - travelling to their homes or meeting at a music studio for the sessions. We focus on the foundations of sustainable singing technique - breath and relaxation. The second half of each session includes jamming together on songs of your choosing, and applying what we covered in the warm-ups. There are opportunities to work on songwriting, record songs in the studio, and even perform live at the open mic I host monthly at the tennis club café in Ilkley.

Hi there! My name is Dom and I’m a professional singer passionate about helping people liberate their voices. Originally from Chicago, I’ve been in the UK for 14 years now and especially loving Yorkshire! I work as a full time musician - performing, recording and composing music. My approach is to design a bespoke course for each student based on their needs. I learn about your musical taste and we only sing songs that you enjoy. Additionally, I will introduce you to key vocal exercises which we will practice together and learn how they apply to performance. For those who are interested, we can explore and develop your songwriting skills as well. Lessons last anywhere from 60 - 90 minutes and can be as frequent as you like. All ages and abilities welcome!
